Terminal
It's not like that Speilberg movie
Cuz for some reason things aren't going that smooothly
It's place where everyone wants to go somewhere
No one likes the fact that they're not already there
And it's not like this place is always a fair
The fifty killed and multiple injured show some despair
A place where everything wears a veil
Even though it's temporary and gets kinda stale
But who is anyone to judge
When we're too serious to even budge
Everyone comes here wanting to be a stud
And most just land with a loud thud
But this isn't that serious, it's not a bunch of bodies
Strewn all over in front of the lobby.
It's something far more personal so it hurts more
And the thing is that we all know what's in store.
Maybe it's just something strong and powerful, like Katrina
Or maybe it's a huge wave that flops before the marina
Thinking makes it much more confusing
And it feels like it's you're humanity you're losing
Maybe it's times like these that make you realize what's important
Somethings that always lie in our souls dormant
You're vision always becomes clear when you're pulled by a current
Even if you really weren't
But it's amazing what you find in a terminal,
Even if it's detrimental
To tell the truth and how much you mean
To me is much more than you can dream
