Terribly Kind

I guess it only takes a conversation or two.

to force me to care

about you.

I promise that wasn't my intent

maybe you were sent

from heaven to test my strength

But you don't have to smile at me

like I matter

to you

dont worry I know I matter

you keep telling me so.

You didn't have to let me wear your glasses

make me laugh so hard I cry

you didn't have to build me up

and promise to fight for me

you rescued me.

But this fall's so far...

it'll break me.
