Terrified
If he was gone,
Pain,
Sadness,
Relief,
Anxiety lessened
Immensely so,
From a flood to a trickle.
Hoping to escape
Before it destroys me,
Breaks my mind,
Vacates my body,
Going insane
Ready to die.
I cannot go
For it will be worse
For those left behind.
