Terror
Everytime I seat on my couch and switch on the television
The first set of global news I watch is about terror
Many people have lost their lives
All because of terror attacks around the world
Be it children, teens, adults and the old.
The peace in their lives has faded
Dreams have been shattered
Hopes have been blown away
All because of heartless men
who don't have hearts for human
Their hearts are like rocks emmited
by hot lava from unknown place
They kill innocent souls
not because they have to
but because they want to
Their aims are bound
to destroy innocent lives
yet they get nothing in return
Children are living in fear
Tears are dripping like a stream of blood
heading in one direction
Their hope for the future
has been lost in the dark clouds
Some have lost their beloved ones
Some are missing
Some have been seperated from their loved ones
Some never want to give up but continue their journey to the exodus
Their shadows are no longer seen
Their voices are not heard
They live in the hands of corrupt leaders
There zeal has been torn apart
terror has hurt them with a negative impact
political leaders are failing to interact
because the peace is no longer intact
when terror passes
it leaves an engraved mark of grief and sadness
leaving the young ones with stress
Terror breaks the bond between dreams and the future
Am saying no to TERROR......Are you?
Moment of Silence to all our departed friends in terror!
