The Terrors
Those tears at the creases of my eyes
won't fall
I refuse to shed even one tear
I'll toss and turn all night before I let it fall tonight.
My emotions won't overpower me
I will build this wall with bricks and reinforcement
Nothing will send it crashing
Not even my insistent heart that continues to pound uncontrollably in its chamber
I'll suffer the pain internally before I allow it to break through this wall anymore.
