Papers flip in a non-patterned motion,
fingers are tapped nervously on the desk,
the thought "when did I learn this?" To every question,
this my friend, is a test,
heads bowed down to their paper,
as if they're praying at an alter,
they re-read the question over and over,
as if the answer should come up clearer,
in their seat you can hear their rabbit feet,
moral values fall when you can get an "A" by trying to cheat,
in the end learning is obsolete
and they delete their memories of the mesozoic era or the gruesome tragedy by Hitler's reign of terror,
or the intensity, wave lenth, and frequency of ultraviolet, or the distance of two points on a coordinate plane connected by a segment,
you start to forget and feel regret, instead of sending texts,
you could have studied for this test,
how about you take time and say "talk to you later, I have to study for a test", instead of setting yourself up for stress,
Papers flip in a non-patterned motion,
fingers are tapped nervously on the desk,
the thought "I learned this" to most questions,
like spongebob, you're ready for this test
