Testing, Failing, Resetting

Testing, testing, testing,

Seeing what we know,

Slipping my mind,

Where did the knowledge go?

Only there to disappear,

As a test comes near,

Essay question,

True or false,

The answer I can’t recall,

Surely we’ve learned,

Questions 1, 2, and 3,

Answers keep trying to hide,

Lost in the maze,

Inside my mental haze,

Searching and searching,

Nowhere to be found,

MIA,

Till the next day,

Red F adorning the front page,

Answers return from their cage.
