Tethered by an invisible rope

I am tethered to you by an invisible rope that life has tied tight

The only way to see it is by the words you speak that cut through the silence

Simple yet so worthwhile

You make me feel like I am truly special

Even when we live in a world thats utterly questionable

Time is only a concept when your love is something filled with omnipotence

Like a breeze in the wind it moves the trees of my heart

The longer you are around to show me this feeling

The more the forest in my heart sways to the song that you create

This rope that binds me is strong

It will live on and on past my last breath

That I believe is my ultimate test

Because you make my heart beat right through my chest

Thanks to this tangled rope that life has given me

I was able to find a person that was truly tethered to me

All I need is you to keep me from getting lost

I will keep hold to the rope that has tethered me at any cost

For you are the only thing that cannot be lost in the waves of lifes confusion

Follow the invisible rope that is tethered to you and I

Because I Truly love you forever and a day

Even past the last breath to fill my chest

This I believe is my ultimate test
