The text

My phone lit up

It was 1:00 am

I looked down and thought

"He knows Im trying to go to bed"

You wanted to say I love you

Your voice; so sweet and addicting

It felt as if our love

Could never become conflicting

You would kiss my forehead

Those were the best

The feeling bubbled inside me

To strong to confess

To you it didnt mean as much

"I love you" sounded bitter

My heart began to sting

Feeling like frostbite in the winter

The text arrived

It was 3:01

The text read

"I cant do this anymore"

And you said we were done

Why the hell would you do this to me?

Won't you miss what we had?

Our memories filled my brain

Leaving me alone and feeling sad

The weeks went on

You were with someone new

It hurts to see you with her

But our time is far do
