Thalia's World

Looking in the mirror

Dreaming of what could be

My desires become clearer

On who I want to see look back at me

One of strength and poise

Much like my father

A woman that makes much noise

Makes you pay attention, with no bother

My name is Thalia Naft

A comedian from New york

I'm one of a kind in my craft

But beginning to feel feelings of some sort

I tend to be joyous to the naked eye

Not even knowing my own reality

I need to decipher my truth from a lie

It's time to take a dive into my mentality

Beginning with a question

Why am I so empty?

All I've known is suppresion

But my gift of laughter always follows

Looking in the mirror

Dreaming of what could be

My desires become clearer

On who I want to see look back at me

A cup overfilled

Laughter without pain

For this I will be strong willed

Similar to a crane

Me vs. the world

I want to be better

Not to be gifted or pearled

But a mental health trend setter

My trauma no longer baggage

To be understood and not confused

Use it to my advantage

As if my heart is unabused
