Thanatos

I saw you for the first time, my love, when you were only two

Birthday party in full swing, I took your mother's hand

She had the most beautiful smile.

Next I met your father, in the shattered pieces of a car

He kicked and fought and pushed me down

In the end I took him too.

I am all around the world

Everyone knows my name

I'm in every thought you have, my darling

And I see you every day.

Fear and hope and sorrow

They're all because of me

I am Death but is Death bad?

You could be the next I meet.
