Thank God

Mom, look at where I'm now.

Used to pick up the trash from the side of the streets,

and now,

now I'm at the top.

Thank God,

he gave me the power to stop

the devils from coming near.

Can you hear,

hear me yelling at the top of my lungs.

I remembered just yesterday,

when we were just thugs.

Fighting for life,

even if there was nothing left for us.

Thank God,

he showed me the way I should live,

that instead of taking I should give.

Thank God.

Thank God.
