Thank You
Dear Mother,
I remember a time, a time that has now past.
When you would kiss me and hold me till nights end.
It would be wrong for me to believe those nights would last.
That growing older was something I could transcend.
Now they are just pleasent memories that I hold dear.
Something to look back on when my days are blue.
Knowing that you would say to never fear.
And my reply would be that I know and I love you too.
I know some days we would scream and fight.
Be overcome with butterness and stife.
But I would not trade a single day or night
You are my best friend, my queen, my life.
All i can give you is my love and a gracious thank you.
And know that i miss you and that I am thinking of you too .
Love,
Nick
