Thank You

Thank you

Thank you for the days that you have spent, nurturing me up until the day I can reflect.

Those nights when sleep was once ignored instead of kept, now seeking for some time to catch up on the time that’s left.

Thank you

Thank you for those joyous car rides. Heading to my soccer game praying to win with pride.

Knowing how busy you were but still did not sigh, you’re willing to do anything for me you always compromise.

Thank you

Thank you for always putting you kids first, never second guessing just following through with your word.

You might of had only 20 and gave me 15 no matter if worse came to worse.

Thank you

Thank you for those talks when I was low. Knowing my teen years would be a storm you stuck by close.

Praying for my happiness your tears stayed afloat, said you knew I was a angel from the moment I once spoke.

Thank you

Thank you for letting me be me, staying by my side and always comforting me.

Seeking success with all your might but yet accepting what was meant to be.

Thank you

Thank you for sticking to your word, sticking up for what was right and allowing me to get what I deserved.

I needed that strong figure, I needed that strong nurse, I needed to be kept in the right direction from those jerks.

Thank you

Thank you for the tears and the laughs, always being you and letting the bad times pass.

Allowing time to heal what has broken us in the past and missing the times when I knew I could take what I said back.

To those who may not know whom I speak so passionately of, that molded me from the bottom, from zero.

I would like to say thank you.

Thank you to my mom and dad.

My hearts, my hero.
