thank you


thank you God, for the inspiration

to tickle and try your anger just to see how you could demand

knowing full well the answer.

 

thank you for letting me try to be me

to feel and be

all those experiences of pain and pleasure

 

thank you for even now to smell, see, walk, sleep, learn

and even to try forgiveness.

 

today and tonight are a special moment to live.

so much work to be done and all the time in the world to do it.

knowing though, there will come the time for the armor to rest and to plant flowers upon the shields.
