Thank You

We were together

That much was true

We were together

Until he met you

I loved him a lot

And I will forever

I loved him a lot

But you were too clever

We were perfect

We really were

We were perfect

And then I met her

I thought I loved him

I thought he loved me

I thought I loved him

But it wasn’t meant to be

He was my world

I was his

He was my world

That was until this

Now you are his world

Now she is mine

Now you are his world

And now that is fine

I’ll love her forever

That much is true

I’ll love her forever

And that’s thanks to you

If you didn’t meet him

This wouldn’t be

If you didn’t meet him

Then he’d still have me

I’ll love him forever

And yes I still do

I’ll love him forever

Even though he’s met you

Now it’s you and him

Not him and me

Now it’s you and him

And we all are free
