Thank you

When people tell me thank you

a tiny flower blossoms in my heart.

And when they smile even more,

my heart begins to melt.

I blush then flush at this intense feeling in my heart.

You’re welcome I say.

I thank them for thanking me,

I was of importance to them,

I made a difference to them.

They don’t know how much a simple thank you means to me,

I love that feeling.

I love that they see me.

They see me and they acknowledge me.

This means the world to me.

Thank you Yohana . . .
