Thank you

Don't give me that look

Don't degrade me to my classmates

Don't ask me how I got onto your AP class attendance book

Don't be surprised when the project I just turned in looks like a work of art that should be with the greats.

I'm not the sterotypical nerdy Asian with no life

I'm street smart, not book smart

I'm better at working in the kitchen with an icing knife

A career as a doctor is an interest in which I have no part.

Wonder all you want about how I'll turn out

When I'm more successful than you could ever imagine

Smile, don't pout

You're the one who lit the match; revved the engine

Made me work hard

Made me break molds

Made me find myself

Made me be me.
