Thank You Dad

Dear Dad,

If I could speak to you one last time.

I'd tell you thank you.

Thank you for constanting being in my corner.

Thank you for always picking me.

Thank you for never abandoning me.

Thank you for choosing sobriety for me.

Thank you for missing my birthdays so I could have a roof to live under.

Thank you for saving me from the monsters under my bed.

Thank you for putting me in every sport possible.

Thank you for teaching me to hunt.

Thank you for all the fun trips.

Thank you for letting me pursue all my dreams.

Thank you for showing me how a man should treat a women.

Thank you for always defending me.

Thank you for mending my broken heart.

Thank you for always intimidating my boyfriends.

Thank you for being the "cool" dad.

Thank you for sitting with me for countless hours helping me with homework.

Thank you for always being my shoulder to cry on.

Thank you for being my best friend.

Most importantly thank you for loving me.

I may have lost you to soon dad but, I'll always be thankful for the time I had with my dad.

I love you dad forever and always.

Love,

Kailey
