Thank You for Everything

Through all these stressful years

You helped to calm all my fears

You always helped me choose what was right

Even at the end of the day

You consoled me when I was close to tears

And helped me avoid the others’ sneers

Through it all you were by my side

Helping me pave my own way

And now my time for college nears

I know this is sadness to your ears

But I will still come back for your advice

I will never truly go away

Thank you for creating the best atmosphere

For me when I needed my mind to clear

I hope my future will fill you with pride

And that you’ll be with me the rest of the way
