Thank you, Father
When I say Father, I mean on the spiritual level. The one that heals the sick and casts out devils. I mean, the one that woke me up this morning with the use and activities of my limbs, the shining light when the path is dim, the way-maker when things look grim. I just wanted to say, “Thank you, Father!” for flying high above the rim.
Thank you for your loving kindness and your tender mercy, for supplying food, and water when I’m thirsty. Thank you for your angels of protection and your amazing grace, for equipping me to run with patience, this race. Thank you for being my comforter in a sometimes lonely place.
Thank you for giving me the strength, courage, wisdom, patience, discipline, understanding, and the endurance to make it through another second, another minute, another hour, and another day. Father, I know that it is nothing that I have done to deserve your favor, it’s all by your grace and mercy; that’s why you’re my savior, the reason I praise ya!
Father, I ask that you continue to hold me and mold me, make me and shape me, walk with me, and talk with me, and fill my cup while building me up. Father, I will never forget to give you all the glory, honor, and praise because you’re more than worthy to be praised, especially these days. Amen, amen, and amen!
