thank you my brother

just wanted to say thank you my brother thank you for your time it was worth more than a single dime when we spoke, it was a chance to showcase my talents honestly that is not a crime thanks for lending me your ear i just wanted you to hear my poems that i wrote it wasn't about persuading you in earning a vote just a chance in having my poems being marketed in which my goal is to promote i'm very thankful that you listen to three of my pieces that same night, i came home and pray to the almighty Jesus moving forward, looking forward to being a voice on the mic when it's my turn to be on stage, i'll be on the attack ready to strike

this poem came from a meeting with a friend of mine that is a director of cultural programs in performing arts. i'm getting that opportunity to perform for the crowd thank you my brother-i'm very humbly appreciative
