"Thank You" or Whatever


I should thank you. You showed me no one is truly Who they say they are. You showed me people are capable Of doing terrible things To the ones they love. You showed me every night, Without fail, That discipline is love. Now I confuse the two. But I should thank you... Right? That's what you say- I should thank you. You helped me. Because that's how the real world is, People will hurt me. Then what was that? The fake world? If that's what the real world is, I want no part in it. So thank you.
