A Thank You to Souls In Ink

Oh, the intangible

The sounds, the words

The untouchables.

Thank you.

To the never real

And the never will be

To the places I will never see

Only dream

And the people

I only dream of meeting

Thank you for your kindness

Your refuge

Your stories becoming my own

My home my

Escape.

For your dreams are now my own

My hope, my goal

My way to face the day

Oh, the intangible

The untouchables.

The words that pierce my heart

And find a home

That live in my mind

Worm their way through my thoughts

Myself, my being, my entirety

The courage of a soul in ink

How you’ve written yourself to my life

Your pages my comfort

Your ability my desire

It is to you I owe my life

Your words, your worlds my wake up call

My way to persevere, to not give up

Your creations my hope that one day

I might be the same

That I too

Could find the courage

To write my soul in ink

And bare it to the judgements of

Life

That someone new might see my words

My soul

And find hope and courage as I did yours

Thank you

Intangibles

Untouchables

Souls bared in ink

You who saw light

In dark reality

Who found courage to make light

Spread life

Instill hope

Thank you

To the courage of your words

Your worlds

Your soul bared in ink
