The Thank Yous I Never Said

To my dearest uncle, thank you

Thank you for love beyond the moon

Thank you for a place in your heart I'd never lose

Thank you for living your life so true and dear

Thank you for allowing me to love you and hold you near

Like an unspoken promise from God

You were my first example of love

The kind you showed resembled the one up above

From our first day of kindegarden to the ending of high school years

With promise and purpose

you were there to wipe every tear

No one could ever replace the man you've been to me

A father, a friend, a God-like entity

So thank you Uncle Roy for gracing this earth

For this love I'll forever cherish

In my you'll never perish

                 Love Spicy
