THANKFUL
Today we see the struggles in our lives and we always seem to look back
instead of pushing forward and giving our worries to God. Having faith and
trusting in our Lord is something we need more than life itself. We as people need
to learn to stop dwelling on the past and live for the future and pray to God so that
every day will get better than the day before. Loving ourselves is not easy at times
because being human we sometimes make mistakes, but learning from our mistakes
makes us stronger as each day go by. Life is more than just taking care of ourselves
and the people around us; it’s about being compassionate and following God’s
direction without doubts and fears. When I find myself having doubts and fears, I
read God’s word because that’s the only thing that gives me peace and allow me to
get through the pain and suffering life may bring. It was never promised to us that
our lives would be sunny and bright everyday of our lives.
We need to have courage and lift one another up in Christ
when everything seems to go wrong at the same time.
Tomorrow isn’t promised to anybody, we can be here today and gone tomorrow.
Instead of focusing on all the hurt and pain we have experienced we should be
thankful for each day, because once we die, and life is no more, the chance we had
to repent, love one another, and live the right way beyond the grave there are no
more chances. So love one another and be thankful for what we have and give
honor to God. Let’s all show him that we appreciate the gift he gave us through
Christ Jesus. Let’s die to ourselves and put our old nature away, walk with Christ
each and every day. It’s not easy and we will be tested and all our desires will come
from all direction, but have faith and call on Jesus name,
believe that he will help you all the way.
Our Father is so merciful and loving and slow to anger, he’s waiting on us so
patiently to call on his name for help. Let go of your anger, let go of your guilt, let
go of all your grudges be merciful and kind to all mankind. When I think of life, it
seems like a long test that I must complete. I keep running the race so I may see my
Saviors face, to be pleased with my works and teach me along the way. All I can
say is that I’m thankful for each and every day, no matter if it’s good or bad or if
I’m happy or sad, because God has given me everything and
I’m glad to say thank you to my Dad.
Never giving up, never looking back, letting go of my old nature so God can do his
will in my life, to live for today all I can do is pray.
