Thankful

I'm thankful for love, 

Thankful for life.

I'm thankful for heaven above

and thankful for time.

I'm thankful for smells,

and the song of the birds.

I'm thankful for health,

and all of the things that God helped me learn.

I'm thankful for family,

and the way that we live.

Thankful for Christmas,

and the ability to give.

I'm thankful to be me

and that you are you

I'm thankful that God is good

and try to live the way I should.

But I'm thankful for grace

mercy, forgiveness,

and the savior born that day,

so that I now know there is a better way.
