Thanks For The Memories
You’ve changed
Those simple words have free range
So thanks for the memories…
Day by day it’s although everything stays the same
But looking back now, you can clearly see what everything became
You ask yourself why, but you don’t have the answer
People grow distant; it’s an inevitable part of life
Accept it now and save yourself the strife
At least I know how you truly feel, thanks for that
It’s hard to hear even though it’s the truth
That pain you feel is you letting go of your youth
So thanks for the memories…
