Thanks Mom

Sitting…waiting…contemplating…

What am I waiting on? My mother of course.

I’m almost 18 without a license. I’m waiting on momma to take me.

She still isn’t here. I hope she is okay.

All my money from the bank is gone. Thanks mom.

She said would be here in 5 minutes. It’s been 20.

Dad had to get more medicine for his anxiety. I think the anxiety is from being married to my mom for so long.

I guess I’m going to be late to school again.

I found out this year I have a different dad than my sister, and I wonder what he looks like. My mom is sketchy sometimes.

She’s finally here, and I know the first bell has rang.

My mother is talking about college, but I want to talk about other things.

Frustrated…aggravated…irritated…

The tardy bell has already rung when I enter the classroom.

Everybody looks up. The teacher stares. What little do they know.
