Thanks to my Hero

(poems go here) Your eyes, jewels to the unforeseen
You are so miserable as they are so keen
To tell you how weak
You are to be so brutal, but they do not know what you seek
Some of you seek justice while others
Just want to fight for their brothers
You sacrifice your hearts
And we do as we all part
We wait to see you eyes full of the same
Ideals and life but find you have found something untame
You witnessed their culture
As them swarm down to you and their country like vultures
You kept us free for many more days
And that is more than most can say
You found what is so special about our nation
To me you have gained a new identification
You are a hero and kept my freedom safe
You were not serving in vain through all that strafe
I am so proud
To find you in this crowd
You are my hero
An American Hero
