Thanks To You
I day dreamed out the window as the car continued to drive. I thought about how i was living and breathing on my own. How I’m on a planet that’s moving and nature surrounds us giving us the ability to breath. I was scared. My heart rapidly pounded every time i would come out of that trance. I was 7 years old.
I would like to thank the person who gave me a sense of peace in this scary world. The person who taught me so much about the reason why we’re here and that we are never alone even when we feel most alone. Now when i look out the window i think of how amazing life is and how amazing love is and how we’re all here to find a meaning. My aunt.
She taught me how to be strong. She taught me that when i feel lonely I’m not alone. When I’m sad I’m not alone. That God is there and he will be there forever. And now loneliness will never win.
Even though the world can be a little scary when we first think about it — it’s a beautiful thing. We look at nature and see trees and grass and flowers. But when i look i see something that was created by someone amazing and loving. Life isn’t scary. But it has its bad sides. And that’s when we are suppose to fight. Through the depression, anxiety, stress and tension. I look towards the sky and pray that the days will get better and i find myself hopeful that one day it will be. And thanks to you I’m not afraid anymore.
