That life time

She asked me if I had any regrets, At my very last moments of breathing, Smiling bitterly knowing I’d be lying to an angel, I shook my head and coughed out a “No” Breathing shallowly I forced out my words of truth, “Kitsune’s don’t have regret”, “But make the best of their short comings” I was never the best at lying , Nor can I lie to those I hold dear, It was as if this woman I knew for lives, I seem to have forgotten at my time of near death, Putting her fourhead to mine, She kissed me as my eyes shut, To then find myself Here and in such a world, Without magic, As if reason was gone. -Kitsuko Dragonstar
