thats enough for today

Forgive me for my yesterday’s

I do not look back these days

I’ve taken off down a dark road

Planning never to see home.

Forgive me for my yesterday’s

For I do not live there anymore

Tomorrow is a warmer shore

That I cannot wait to lie upon.

I am reborn with the sun

But you’ve begun to see

Only fragments of what used to be.

Release or confront but do not dwell

The past is a concaving shell

Awaiting to devour your soul,

Just allow it to go

Or scream at it till it’s gone

Writhing in phlegm

Will only do you wrong.

You’re a year away

I won’t look to you anymore

If that is where you wish to stay

I can only send my warmth.

Do visit the neighboring times,

Don’t reply the same scene

Until it’s nothing but a beating gleam,

Look to foils and follies

Let go of the could be’s.

Tomorrow I will be older

My skin will shrivel, growing colder

Tomorrow I will radiate and set ablaze

Tomorrow I will be long gone

Living in better days

You’re welcome to join

There’s more than enough room

Get out of your head

That dusty old room

Come see what awaits

Behind pearly gates

Leave hell to its gloom.
