That's Not Love

Because I love you

You've blinded me with your words

Because I love you I've let you bring me down

We were once so close 

An inseparable bond

One mistake changed it all

You became my enemy 

I gave you my heart

I trusted you with my life

You took advantage of me 

You know I love you 

You know I do

But that love has caused me to not believe what I'm seeing

Your words are hurting me

You insult me, call me names

Threaten me, all while you enjoy it

Every time I'm close to leaving you

You promise me things will change 

You promise me the world

And right when I'm happy again

You take it all away

You manipulate me 

It's sick 

But I stay

I'm not myself anymore I'm not in control of myself

You are

You've taken full control of my life 

And there is no way out for me

I cry for help 

But you sit there and laugh

You enjoy the pain you cause me

All I can do is cry 

I beg you to stop

But you won't the more I cry the more I hurt the better you feel.

I just want out but this love has stopped me from leaving

I want to go but I can't 

I love you even though it hurts 

I love you even when you say I'm nothing to you

A life without you makes me sad 

But a life with you makes me miserable 

Because I love you.... I let all that happen.

You say you love me too

But all the things you do isn't love

What you do is hate

When you love someone you'll never hurt them 

You'll never bring them down 

No one should ever experience "love" like that 

Because that's not love
