That's Not OK.
They couldn't walk in my sneakers. They're getting printed with my sneaker soul
I try to spill the soul… That they say the demons stole
I'm in a fire pit… My heart is freezing cold
I try to ignore the lies that those people told
Even though, I'm just trying to reach my goal
I feel my past and present putting me in a sleeper hold
I try to seize control, but my control is seized
Destined to be famous but I'm walking through some lonely streets
Grab the pen, compose the sheets on promoter beats
Sometimes I could be shallow but I make sure the flow is deep
So how am I supposed to sleep? I don't think I need it
And if I do, I don't want it. Sometimes I get conceited
I can do it on my own, Tell the rest to beat it
'Cause these new rappers got rid of the bounce like a Tempurpedic
And I'm getting heated… 'Cause no lie!
I'm destined to be a boss, Not an employee - Best believe it!
'Cause when I helped the other man win, I felt defeated
What's the point of joining a pack if you can never lead it?
And you can't talk like a boss if you're not one
Life is a beach, I guess I'm surfing til' my day come
There's a lot who support or gas him, but there's no bragging
Not until I feel like everything I've ever dreamed of already happened
I speak my mind, I'm not just rapping
Not joking, not laughing. Taking everything I want now, I'm not asking
Out of my mind but I get it in, It's evident
When I get in the game, I'm taking over everything
Music before the "benjamins'" and the heavy bling
What's a has been? I think I'd rather be a never-been
'Cause never-been means I never had my day.
Has been means I had it, but let it slip away.
That's Not OK.
