That's the scary part

Silent teardrops at the beginning of the day,

Still in bed.
Not a possible ounce of motivation to get through the next dreaded 24 hours.
Confusion,
Loneliness,
Vulnerability...
It was all so real.
Numbness filled the room, and it stood in every single drop of air that floated about;
Crowding into every corner.
It was all so clear.

This life has two filling factors.
Pain,
And hope.
And when you don't feel one, you feel the other.
And no matter which one you're feeling,
Whether it's pain, and you know things will get better,
Or whether it's hope, and you know that things will get worse-
Whichever one it may be, you know that they will both come to an end, sooner or later.
And that's the scary part.
