That's What I Am

I am a pupil, that’s what I am.

A pupil not filled with much pride or glam.

I manage to do my work day and night.

A goal with an end in sight.

It’s fine, all I need is to continue.

Education, a key to move away from poverty

Achieving a dream, this big will take effort.

Simply, great grades will not do.

I must do everything, that is possible for me.

This requirement must remove me from distractions.

No more laziness, no more procrastination.

Those are unnecessary for my goal.

I can accomplish this, I know it’s possible.

I am a success, that’s what I am.
