That's What I'll Do

If I have to consistently suffer from pain,

In order to be strong,

Then that’s what I’ll do.

If I need to make an abundance of mistakes,

In order to be wise,

Then that’s what I’ll do.

If I have to hurt someone’s feelings,

In order to be honest,

Then that’s what I’ll do.

If I have to receive hateful and envious comments,

Everytime I accomplish something,

Then that’s what I’ll do.

If I have to go through all these things,

In order to be successful,

Then that’s what I’ll do.
