Because I love you, I am patient with you. I stand with you in the wait. I am not leaving nor am I giving up on you.
Because I love you, I am kind to you. I treat you with the utmost respect. I recognise the power my words have and I use them to build you up.
Because I love you, I am not envious. I address and work towards fixing my insecurities and issues. I will celebrate you and your accomplishments wholeheartedly.
Because I love you, I am not be proud or self-seeking. I am always looking out for us.
Because I love you, I am not be easily angered. Our relationship is more important than the argument, so I stop and listen before I respond.
Because I love you, I keep no record of wrongs. It’s only our present and future together that matters.
Because I love you, I speak the truth, protect you, trust you, hope for the best with you,and persevere with you.
