Thawed Heart

My heart was cold and covered in ice,

Forgotten how to beat, forgotten how to feel,

And then you came and taught me how to love

and your fiery passion thawed my frozen heart,

waking me from my slumber,

awakening my now heightened senses to our genuine loving,

A love story just beginning
