The Ache
I guess I always thought you were the one I had to hate,
I never thought that you’d be the one that made me mentally late.
My mind is racing so much I can’t even keep my thoughts straight.
My whole day without you seems like way too much weight.
All my thoughts are so jumbled I can’t even try to translate.
I got so many mixed emotions my life seems to rotate.
Every time you go you leave my heart in a state that it can’t even take.
And all these mind games you be playing got me thinking it’s fake.
You're in my head and my thoughts about you are impossible to shake.
I sit around hoping you not boutta be another heartbreak.
You make my mind ache,
You make me think about you so much it keeps me awake.
Sometimes I wonder if loving you’s a mistake.
