The Bridge Broke, Once Again

Relapsing sets you back what feels like a million steps. And suddenly all the distance you've travelled feels invisible. There wasn't a reason. There was just me. I built a steady bridge but it was destroyed by one storm that lasted a few minutes. The damage, however, stayed much longer. The storm passed, I'm still on the floor. And the silence is louder than the storm.
