The Cottage
Someday I will write
About the pain I see today
Someday I will fight
Let my pen lead the way
Someday the world will see
My grief and my strife
Someday I will complete
My purpose in life
Someday my pen
Will write into life a forest
Someday-- only then
Will this dream regain my focus
Someday I will build
A charity from words
Someday I will protect
The innocent from hurt
Someday I'll leave a legacy
A girl and a saint
Someday a cottage
Is all that will remain
