The Final Text

I enter the car, A day like any other, I turn the key- A text lights up: my brother. I back out slowly, Then pull into the street, My phone lights up again. I glance down at the screen Typing and typing As I reach the highway Speed climbing higher- My thoughts start to say: What are you doing? Just put it away. But I look down once more... And that was the last day.
