The First Time

The first time I tried a vape. It felt unreal, a fruity taste hit your mouth. Relief The first time I tried a cigarette. It burned, but a nice burn. It hit the back of my throat and I coughed. After a few puffs, I got used to it. Relief The first time I cut myself. Relief and joy hit me almost suddenly. I thought 'i can't get addicted.' But the more and more I did it. I became addicted. I didn't have control. It started with only a few cuts here and there so no one would notice. But eventually, it took control of me. My arms: blood dripping. My brain: relief and peace. The first time I went deep. I panicked at first, but then a wave of peace washed over me. I felt relieved and relaxed. I sat there, staring into mid air, thinking about how all of a sudden my problems aren't big anymore. I tried a cigarette again, It burned again but nicely. I like that burn. The taste? No, bitter. But I'll get used to it. I started vaping, The first night, I sat, window open, door closed. I put music on and vaped. I started crying, of the relief I felt. I don't regret taking the vape. I vape every now and again, only for the relief.
