THE FOOL
THE FOOL
The fool has said "there is no God" in his heart,
I say, this is the wrong thought from the start.
He is not necessarily lacking normal intelligence; in fact,
He may have a good intellectual mind intact.
Instead the fool has a spiritual problem in the heart,
Not a mental problem in the head, which is set apart.
The fool is self-righteous and doesnt, God, want or need,
He wants to live his own life the way he pleases, indeed.
This decision causes consequences in his every day conduct,
By leaving God out, causes his heart to be more reluct.
He has turned his back on God, and gone aside,
Refusing to fulfill the purpose he was created-to glorify God, not self pride.
He cannot do anything that is good enough to merit heaven, not one,
He can be saved only by the grace of God, and what Jesus has done.
This doesn't mean all fools are as wicked as they can be,
Nor does it mean that they can never do anything good, he or she.
It simply means that all have a fallen nature they cannot change,
None can be saved from eternal judgement apart from the grace of God's exchange.
