The Future And I

You ask me about the future, Yet look at yourself, living in the present. How can you still be thinking about the unknown, When you are standing right where everything is known? Tell me of a place without a secret, Where everything is open like the sky— Wide, clean, and clear, But dark and too high sometimes. How can you live in the present, Where your mind and heart are just Trapped thinking about the unknown? You just overthink it, Or maybe you are the one Who outsmarts the world's logic. In my case, to me, The unknown is just the early phase of the known. Like the opposite side of a coin for the known. Yeah, the future is unknown, And the present is known—but why Must we waste everything for an unknown That hasn't even shown its face? Everyone knows, including me, Humans need to be calculating, cautious, And capable of outsmarting each other. But have you thought about it carefully? If that is true, shouldn't we all be the same? If that is true, then why is everyone so completely different? Why? Why, oh why? Even when we follow the exact same path, Still, why? Maybe it’s because this world itself is cruel. Some become losers because of failure, Some become losers even from success. Some lose everything despite having everything, Some win everything out of nothing. Some cherish it, Some discard it. Some love it, Some hate it. Even on the exact same path, Some step into success, While some get lost in failure. And here I am, just talking big— Doing something, but nothing in reality. I’m not saying you don't need to think about the future, I’m not denying that we must consider what lies ahead. I’m not telling you to become like me— I just wanted to remind you that justice is just a word, One that won't even exist in the future.
