the games you play on me

You ripped my lungs from my chest and expected me to breathe for you and the sad part is I tried. even though the pain was horrible and it felt like I would die if I kept trying. but I did because i'd endure this pain forever if it was for you Sometimes I still think I would even though I should hate you but I can't: I don't think I ever could But then sometimes I feel this huge immense anger that feels like I'll burn anything in my way And as soon as I'm about to let out all the sadness, anger, and pain you have caused me I see you, and you do this bullshit of how much you loved and missed me and how you'll get your shit together and it'll be us against the world again. and all of those emotions vanish because it feels like how it used to be-how I longed it to be I was defenseless against you and your mind games its pathetic and then I'm the defenseless little girl waiting for mom to call in the ridiculous hours of the night and she doesn't and then I cry.
