The hate that couldn’t live
I sometimes feel mistreated,
Which led me to grow miserable,
So I wondered if my family just put up with me,
After so many years and work,
So many missed birthday cakes,
Presents after gifts to the utmost lavish extent,,
Was money and gifts all I was worth…,
I started to grow resentment,
And have all the right to hate…,
To grow bitter and distant from my blood,
So why is it the hate that I feel kills itself,
Why does knowing my dad doesn’t know me,
HURT EVEN MORE KNOWING I CAN’T CRY AT A FUNERAL,
WHEN …when the old man passed…,
I didn’t shed a damn tear,
To bawl my eyes out for an online friend I saw as a mother,
So why…,
WHY CAN’T I HATE,
Why...can’t I cry for the people I should for.
