The Learners

We are gifted with intelligence Splendid intelligence We are crafted and formed By the knowledge we impart And the information we intake We are initiated into the halls of understanding Guided through trials of academia Pulled by the weight of knowing And lifted by the successes of ourselves and our peers We are born into this world seeking and inquisitive Our curious minds fed by the constant flow of information around us We grow in new days and sprout with experience We are pursuers of the known and unknown We are all dreamers inventors and visionaries We are all, in our own measure scholars, academics, learners We are all students And we are educated
